With how expensive everything has become lately, I wanted to create something that would help people get out, explore, and enjoy South Florida without breaking the bank. The Sawgrass Trailhead offers a scenic levee trail stretching along the edge of the Everglades, providing unobstructed views as the sun dips below the horizon. Park your car, take a relaxing walk, and watch the sky light up with vibrant colors over one of South Florida's most beautiful natural landscapes. It's also a fantastic spot for wildlife viewing, with alligators, birds, and other native species frequently seen along the boardwalk.
